AT THE Hollywood FRINGE
Combined Artform / Asylum has been a major player and influencer at the Hollywood Fringe since it began in 2010. Here is a list of the various programs and support we have given throughout the years.

- Founding Contributions:
- Served as a venue and producer during the inaugural year in 2010.
- Hosted over 750 Fringe productions across 14 years.
- Booked over 20 different spaces in Hollywood during that time.
- Productions and Accolades:
- Produced or co-produced 60+ shows.
- Earned 30+ awards, including Top of Fringe and Best Comedy.
- Education and Community Building:
- Taught over 500 participants in “How to Produce a Hollywood Fringe Show.”
- Served on the first HFF Advisory Committee.
- Acted as a venue representative from 2010 to 2015.
- Invited HFF Staff to “Office Hours,” now a staple of the Fringe community.
- Innovative Programs:
- Created “How to Produce a Fringe or Intimate Production” workshops.
- Developed the Asylum Promotion Program, including participant lanyards.
- Presented the HFF “Runway Show” through the Asylum Promotion Program.
- Established the “Asylum International House” to support out-of-town shows.
- Fringe Exchange and Awards:
- Initiated the first exchange partnership with the San Diego Fringe.
- Created and managed awards like Best of HFF, Hollywood Encore Producers’ Award, and Best of Asylum.
- Extended over 800 shows through the Encore program in 10 years.
- Extensive Venue Management:
- Managed 24 venues with a total of 46 performance spaces in Hollywood, during the HFF.
- Post-Fringe Success:
- Supported shows that went on to perform at venues like SoHo Playhouse, Namba, Odyssey Theatre, and more.
